ooo
You're doing pretty well for only being a few months in, all you can really do is keep practising. Just pay more attention to when the mix is out and try to correct it quicker, and think a bit more about when you drop in the next tune so that it creates a progression or a mix that the crowd will enjoy. The tune selection worked well together too, keep it up. What CDJs are you using ?
King C
I haven't heard the mix yet, it's late and I need to get up in the morning but I'll say this anyway; having started out with vinyl turntables, I find the it a lot harder to beat match with cdj's. Maybe it's in my head? Anyway, I'll listen at a later date and edit this with something more constructive.
o0jack0o
Hi mate, one of my friends does some dj'ing and he quite often enters competitions on a website called "Beatport". Not sure if you heard of it but loads of good music there and could be useful to see other peoples entries to the competitions for inspiration ect. I think the comps are just remixing a song they select and then is votes based but pretty sure its free to sign-up so thought i'd let you know. That mix sounded good as well =)
