Gaz96
So I replaced my fixed hub with a Hope Bulb on my Zoot Pro for the reason I wanted to run a disk as I was sick of Maguras and was wanting a rear freehub. I fitted it and without a disk on it, it sits in fine, slides up the dropouts a we bit after a while but can be sorted with chain tugs, but once the disk is fitted it rubs on the frame, its not cause the disk is to big as its a 160mm, and if the wheel is far enough up the dropouts the rotor bolts hit the frame... To prevent this the wheel has to sit at angle which isn't good at all but also it instantly straightens up as soon as you start riding so the disk just rubs again and you lose all tension in the chain, its not like its a subtle rub, its quite bad. Is there any solutions to this? Does it happen with all Zoot Pros? Am I just going to have to run rim brakes again? HELP!

HELP! i would say it is your hub the spacing on it and such try a different disc hub a more up to date type and see how it works or put a washer between your hub and frame on both sides to space it out abit had to do it on my front my rotor rubbed on my fork leg so just spaced them out hope this helps Edited April 8, 2012 by Nigel Kilgar
