pingggg
I want to know how to make a spoke tensioner for my Zoo piranha 2009 thanks very much
JD™
Not sure about that particular frame, but the usual process is to put it through a hole in the dropout (if there isn't one, drill one), then wrap the spoke round the axle a few times to create tension (ANTI-clockwise so it pushes down on the chain). Bend it a little at the end so it doesn't catch on the chain links and you're sorted Edited April 5, 2012 by JD™
CalopS
If you have a hole to put it in it really is as simple as JD makes out. Mine was playing up tonight as Ive had it in for quite a while so I just took it off and banged a new one on and it was working fine again (clockwise so it pushes down on the chain) Its anti clockwise. JD™
Its anti clockwise. You're so right, d'oh. I'll edit it now
Azarathal
I've done it clockwise with a makeshift roller before so it pushes up on the chain.
