isitafox
Can anyone advise me on whether or not I need a booster on my 2011 Pure? I've noticed a few pics of bikes like Stans being run without one and wondered how much difference it made to them. I would simply whip it off and see for myself but I've lost the old bolts for my clamps so would have to cut down the ones currently fitted to try it out. super
Mine seems to be better without. Was running an echo two bolt but for some reason (after about 6 months without a problem)the slaves started slipping through the mounts, so started the investigation by taking the booster off...... solved the problem and the brake was awesome. Running TNN greens on trialtech rim.
Cap
I run a booster on mine and I prefer it this way. It's nice and stiff and the brake works great, I find it too spongy without one.
