trialsbeginner
hi, i was just wondering, how come people sometimes slick theyre tyres? is it just to save weight or any other reasons?
Carlperkins
well if they are streety riders it makes the tyres roll easier, saves weight i suppose. not sure whether it improves grip or not.i would say improves in the dry, makes worse in the wet maybe. Yeahh, I like to think of it like how an F1 car tyre works. Super bald.
SamKidney
Mine was epic in the dry. Now Im on mod again I might even dig it out and use it again in the summer.

eskimo
Heavy sluggish tryall tyres are overkill unless you ride dirt and rocks.
Miss-Higgy
To be fair i've never ran a brand new tyre yet it's been slicked Creepy Crawler's. They are just as good in warm dry weather i think but in the wet they are not much help and your constantly having to correct so your not slipping off stuff... P.s I have a slicked Creepy Crawler if anyone wants it.. Pay postage and it's your's.
Ryanonza
i have always slicked a maxxis crawler just like the feel and bouncyness when on the back wheel
iChimpp
I ride with a Try all tyre on the back, slick of course was thinking of getting a new tyre, but the grip is amazing! Unless you are riding rocks there inst much point in have a full tread in my opinion, but im a trials noob. B)
