Dumb Questions On Tartybikes

What is a screenshot?

Thanks

In your case they were the incorrectly saved images you hastily edited out of your original post right after I posted.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but I just found it ironic that you tried to post images with the extension .tiff (and therefor not been able to embed) attempting to show other people's comical ignorance on a subject, but showing yourself up in an even more comical fashion from my point of view at least.

Thanks for the laughs.

Stuff

I hadn't realised that they had not been embedded into the thread, when I grab a screenshot, my computer saves the files to the desktop as a .tiff automatically. Thanks for the info there, now I have this knowledge for the future. (Y)

Thanks

I guess there's never really stupid questions, there's just very uninformed people asking genuine questions.

I wouldn't say the questions themselves were necessarily stupid, but the nature of the circumstances can make them come across like that? There are plenty of questions asked every day where the information's clearly displayed (sometimes in mulitple places), and a little reading would mean that they'd have the answer straight away instead of having to wait to have a question answered.

This was what I was trying to say. A little searching for the info prior to asking doesn't hurt anyone.

"Hi i just got this bike for christmas today and when i pull my brakes they just make a massive squeak for how long i pull them for! how can i stop the squeaking noises?" made me laugh because of a personal experience with one of my mates. He asked the same question at halfords, and halfords being halfords told him to put wd40 on his rims.

It stopped the squeek but didnt stop him when going down a hill...

Hi Artem - Unfortunately there is no disc mount on the Echo Trial frame, so you would only be able to use a rim brake. Thanks, Mark#

EDIT - DANG REPOST?!
