shercofray
Basically my neon snapped into two pieces whilst riding last night, so now in the line for a new frame. The geo of my neon was: Wheelbase: 1035mm Chainstay Length: 350mm BB Rise: 75mm Head Angle: 70 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 620mm (24.4") Looking at getting a rock man Auden 4, Geometry Wheelbase: 1020mm Chainstay Length: 350mm BB Rise: +85mm Head Angle: 71 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 610mm (24") What would be the difference between the bikes when riding? As I found gapping fine on the neon, but start to struggle when going to back up things 40" plus. Can someone please explain the different geos and what's the difference between having a higher bb rise and slacker/tighter head angle etc. Mainly ride street with the occasional bit of natural. Also any suggestions on other frames would be good, Thanks in advance, Frazer
aener
The Aurem would be slightly easier to pin on the front wheel, and a bit higher BB which'll make it a bit twitchier. I know they're not the worst of the Rockmans, but if you're after something a bit more durable, that's a very similar geometry to the Echo Lite 2011. I know it might be a boring suggestion as everyone under the sun has one, but there's good reason for that.
shercofray
Had an echo lite, but after swapping to the neon it felt so much more stable on the rear compared to the echo so wasnt looking at another. Thanks for the help anyway.
