Carlperkins Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 im crap at sidehops but.. if your right foot forward.. sidehop up to the left. if your left foot forward, sidehop up to the right. this lets you get closer to the wall.. imagine theres a line going straight from the centre of your front pedal to the centre of your rear pedal, then get that "imaginary" line parallel to the wall. crouch down fast to pre-load the tyre, then jump up and give a sharp kick in the drive pedal whilst releasing the rear brake. .... i think... dann2707 Posted March 22, 2012 Report Share Posted March 22, 2012 I used to do it the wrong way and found my progress to be absolutely nothing. So one day I switched round and did it how you're "supposed" to depending on what foot forward you are and i've been improving ever since.
