tipek
Hi there I have put together the ultimate radial front wheel Does this charge echo tr (91 g) http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/front_non_disc_hubs/echo_tr_non_disc/c86p10704.html and I do not know if I should put this echo TR rim (680 grams) http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_front_rims/echo_tr_front_26_inch/c518p10714.html or the echo SL (620 g) http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_front_rims/echo_sl_front_26/c518p10598.html I have stainless steel spokes, I want to have a lightweight front wheel where the brake good brakes, what combination of components would you recommend? Martin Reynolds
im running a echo sl non disk hub on a trialstech sport hole rim the wheel weighs 970grams (only due to some heavy spokes) but holds a grind well and still is strong
Robin M S/c
Get a 28 spoke hub and use a monty kamel rim with radial lacing. Adams front wheel is only about 570g

Adams front wheel is only about 570g Considering he's suggest two STOCK rims, he obviously wants a 26" front wheel

The radial spokes? Radial spokes are fine on the front, you dont need much strength. id personally go for the try-all/trialtech square/cirle hole. Strong rims that hold a grind well

Strong rims that hold a grind well when the weaker spokes are radially retracted, destroy the wheel driving to jumping into the front wheel? front gaps? strongly attract spokes could not destroy the hub ? Martin Reynolds
unless you lace the wheel up badly, they'll be fine. I've done plenty of up/gap to fronts and its never shown signs of damage
