murph82
I've seen the how to on you tube, just wondering if i need the tool to refit the freehub seal or if i can get away with no special tools. Something is slipping and not sure if it's that or the front chainring? Cheers
ogre
you need a vice to get the end cap bit out... whats your chainline situation? pro2s need good chain wrap to work well, a slack chain or a push down one like this is not your friend. how old are the sprockets/chain, and is the chain line straight? I noticed tarty says i really need a two wheel tensioner because of the ratio for chain wrap, is it that vital? I think it may be chainline as i adjusted it today and sounds quieter spinnng cranks, haven't ridden it as its slashing down. Checked chain for stiff links as well so hoping thats done it! Mark W
It'll probably be the lack of chainwrap, especially if it's a 15t sprocket and that tensioner.
murph82
It's hard to say, tends to slip whilst pedalling along and not when starting off so not so heavy a load? I'll look at getting a double though, think it may have been chain line causing the problem.
AdamR28
It's definitely the chain wrap.
N.Wood
Double wheel tensioner needed for real.
