STEVE-0
I think it personally looks crap to use Twixtor unless your using a high framerate to begin with.
JamieWilliams
I think it personally looks crap to use Twixtor unless your using a high framerate to begin with. The flip cam films in 60fps but I don't think I rendered it right and for how it looks and how long it took a 9 sec clip to render it's really not worth doing :/
weirdoku
You're using the effect for too long.

Otacon
Twixtors not supposed to be used like that, you play the clip in normal speed, up untill say your front wheels about touch the wall, twixtors designed for super slomo, so you basically almost stop the clip dead, so its barely moving, then change it back to full speed. I'd do an example but i don't use After Affects anymore.
JamieWilliams
I have redone it in Adobe after effects CS4 and it looks a lot better in first post /\
dannytrialskid
Goes on for wayyyyyyy too long. Do the effect when your front wheel touches the pallet, keep the effect for 1.5 - 2.0 seconds. Then let it go to normal speed. Trust me it will look epic! In fact, can you do that and show me? xD
weirdoku
Starts at the right place but you let it go on for tooooo long. Also the there's many other factors that affects how clean the effect comes out, maybe the 2 tutorials in this link http://philipbloom.net/2011/12/06/twixtor-2/ will gives you some better results on the editing. But personally I'd say the footage has too much crap in the background, notice the blurring around the rear wheel but pretty much nothing from shoulders up as that area has a nice clean contrast between what's moving and what's not moving. Maybe if you took a clip where the angle of the camera shows only the sky in the background you'll get a nicer result.
