niall jones Posted February 28, 2012 Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 hello please can somebody help me because my magura hs33 2011 is needing a bleed but i am wondering is there anybody who has bled them in a sink with water and it has worked. please help me as my bleed is desperate and i cant seem to find out if it is possible. It is possible but the pistons become sticky very quickly (mine did it in 1 day). Instead I would recommend using Shimano mineral oil as it is thinner than Magura Royal Blood. narrowbars Posted February 28, 2012 Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 I bath bled mine with water the day I got it and have had zero issues, now going on 4 months old. Just remember you need to back off the hose connection to the lever half a turn or so. Then just bath bleed like you would a previous years version.
