afrobiker
Hi, I've had a Try-all sticky 19" for a fair 2 months now, although recently, it hasn't been sitting my rim properly, and waves from side to side as if I have a major buckle. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? p.s. I'm running an Echo Urban rim with a Kenda DH tube (if this helps)
eskimo
Try pumping your tyre up in stages and use your hands to sit the tyre correctly between pumping. You could remove and squeeze, bend and twist the tyre in that one spot too. I remember having tyres delivered all folded up and they'd loose their shape, this tended to work somewhat okay. Jeromboii
My tyre did this. I tried everything to bend and that and it didn't work. I just went out and bought a maxxie and works perfect

Dan6061
If it doesn't rub on the frame then don't worry about it? My tyres have always done that... never bothered me!
Azarathal
Washing up liquid / talc the tube and tyre and then pump it to its maximum pressure as fast as possible, should force it to sit properly, then just lower the pressure
Ali C
Does it do it with a normal tube in? Kenda DH tubes are absolutely massive, so it could possibly be the tube bulging in a weird way, then pushing the tyre out a bit more?
afrobiker
Good point! so I've whacked in a smaller tube and it still exists. but a can manage to waggle it into a "good enough" alignment and it seems to hold there nicely.
dave33
The problem is the rim, iv had the same problem and then I used the same tyres with tryall rims and they sit fine. Think it's some thing to do with where the bead sits on the side walls
