AndrewEH1
Just listen to music that you don't have to think about and help clear you mind a little. I mainly listen to Folky music, but that is the music I'm into so I find it relaxes me, or get my in the mood to ride a little bit.
SamKidney
Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I love listening to Dub when I ride.
Greetings
Very much depends on the weather, the time of day and my mood. A nice warm evening and a chilled riding style (as in trying to just do things smoothly without going overly big) would call for a form of chillout - used to listen to Aural Planet a bit. Listen to house or club music if I'm trying new stuff or generally feel full of energy.

Need to get a copy of ...And Justice. Also highly rate Appetite For Destruction to ride to.

bikeperson45
When I could ride, I'd listen to The Ramones, Beastie Boys, Royksopp and whatever came up on shuffle. I'd change the music to what sort of riding I was doing, having a TGS setting would be Limp Bizkit (before their songs were used in Damon and Neil's videos ). William trials
well i usually find some more calm music like ben howards and you name it. I usually don't listen to that sort of music but it's good when riding

dannytrialskid
Its quite interesting how different everyones music choice when riding is, thanks for the replies guys. It's because everyone likes different music. I listen to mainly like RnB stuff, like FloRida, Sean Kingston and Shiz. I don't really listen to music when I ride, but if I do it's just whatever is on my iPod, I don't really find that a certain type of music makes me 'in the game' for trials. It's just my motivation that keeps me focused

Matthew62
I find music that has a groove and builds helps. I've never understood metal for trials, I don't think it suits at all. Anything dynamic with flow is good I find for the sort of riding I like. There's tonnes of music I love that doesn't work so well when riding, and equally there's stuff I'm less fond of but seems to fit really well when out on the bike. Things like John Fogerty, Nick Caves film scores, Chicago Blues, Funkadelic, The Doors, Mulatu Astatqé and Yeasayer all seem to hit the right spot when out on the bike.
