TROYston
Ideas thoughts? http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/20_inch_tyres/kenda_small_block_8_front_20_inch/c42p11353.html vs http://www.sourcebmx.com/product/bmx-racing-products/bmx-racing-wheels/tyres-amp-tubes/intense-kevlar-mk2-tyre/8626.shtml There both great tires. I've used both for hard-pack gravel on a race bmx, and both grip amazingly well (at max psi). Overall i did prefer the Intense for grip, so maybe it would work well or if not better on a trials bike? There both designed for race, and according to bmxultra; the Intense has 19/20 on a review, rather than 18/20 on the Kenda. Just thought i would put the idea forward seeming the Kenda 8 has recently came into trials.
Matthew_Gibson
might be okay in the dry. But looks like it will be a slick in the wet. I'd still to a max daddy
Alex Dark
I was really underwhelmed with my small Block 8 on the front of my mod...on the stock it was marginally better but nothing on a try-all stiky in my experience! The Intense tyre looks as if it would turn to a slick at the slightest hint of any mud too? Any idea of what durometer it is?
dann2707
Kenda was great for street, really grippy. Soon as it became wet it was shocking, also they are disgusting for natural. Sidewall is stupidly thin so just punctures really easy.

Sidewall is stupidly thin so just punctures really easy. I'm yet to use mine on natural, but it seems pretty good for street. Nothing has compared to a TryAll Stiky in all condictions, just a damn shame I'm on a 24" now. Lightweight and grippy tyres are a bit of a scarcity in that size. With respect to the Intense I don't think it will be much use for anything but dry street or maybe natural and only for mods. Any sort of mud or moisture and I can see it losing a lot of it's grip with those central "rails" designed to lower rolling resistance.
