J.KYDD
Couple of friends are now using Capix helmets Really nice and light with a nice thin profile - super comfy too
Luke Rainbird
Can't rate my Protec Classic enough. After taking a couple of pretty brutal smashes with it while I was boarding I'm fairly sure it saved me from a great deal of pretty serious permanent damage! Lower profile and more comfortable than most similar lids out there too

CC12345678910
Just bought a giro section pisspot for 37 quid sent. RRP over £50 so i'm told. If it got any lighter it'd be wearing a beanie. I like, A lot.

Mark W
classic mtb helmets are much more comfy and lighter + much better looking IMO Sounds like you haven't tried the original Protec Classic. Every skate helmet I've worn apart from the Protec felt like shit, but the Protec's actually more comfortable than my old Xen, or any other helmet I've tried. onza pro series guy
Bell factions are good on a budget, then theres the more specialist koxx / try-all ones. Protec classics are very good, Giro make a pisspot that feels comfy and is quite light as well. If i was buying new now I'd blow a hole in my bank account with a POC. DrEvil270183
TSG superlight -300g. Bearing in mind an s-work prevail road helmet, used on the tour is about 220g I'd guess the superlight is the lightest pisspot you'll get. Ross McArthur
The Pro-tec Classic ones are comfy and stay put on your head but Ive found the sweat band to be a bit much in the hot weather. Thinner sweat bands on mountain bike helmets make the heat a bit more bearable. Squeezing the sweat out the band after a long days riding gives me the boak.
