AndrewEH1
Need to replace my chain, usually I would just pop into a LBS and buy any old one. I need a 10 speed chain, any recommendations?
Robwalker
How much money do you want to spend - and what sort of bike?
AndrewEH1
Money isn't a massive issue, and it's a Five it that helps. I haven't had to buy a proper chain in years.
Robwalker
Normal call would be to go with whatever groupset you're running, but sram and shimano are relatively good when mixing equipment. Good deals on CRC at the moment http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=53864
ZeroMatt
Can't fault the X10 93 from KMC.
Shaun H
Would just like to point out that in my experience the (expensive) zinc coated versions of the Sram chains don't seem to prevent corrosion significantly longer than the uncoated ones. Ensuring its clean, GT85/WD40'd after washing and lubed is hugely more effective. No experience with other makes but I've heard good things about KMC chains. trialsmax04
I swear by Sram chains, and Shimano Cassettes. Any one really from the Sram PC range will do. Like said above, after use, give it a damn good clean to get the dirt/ oil off, then simply spray with WD40 to disperse the water. Leave for a few hours, then use a good wet lube.
