Luke Rainbird
Looks lush dude. Stem looks pretty funky, but should hop around pretty well and the spec is dialled as f**k
Will Arnold
looks nice, what size sprocket are you using at the back? i'm guessing it's an 18t at the front..
craigjames
looks nice, what size sprocket are you using at the back? i'm guessing it's an 18t at the front.. 18:14 with 175mm cranks. Feels nice, a little lighter than 18:15 175mm on a stock. But then it's much more responsive, rear wheel lifts up[ so much quicker. Only had a few rides on it yet, first natural ride today so see how that is. The only place I can see echo improving is by sorting the chain stay length so it's not such a herculean struggle to get the chain on and to have a built in booster (I know why they wouldn't), but still. One thing you do need is a downtube protector, compared to the Hydroxx I was running before the tubes seem a little more prone to denting. craigjames
Thats a great 24 set up u have there! can imagine it feels great to ride... mmmmm considering a frame change to the echo 24" Thanks very much, rides really nice, although I'm still getting used to is and how different you have to ride it compared to my previous stock (Hydroxx LT. You're on a Kabra at the mo aren't you? Go for the change, but get a CF downtube protector as they aren't the thickest tubes. Other than needing a 2 bolt booster (wish it was built in) it's awesome Need to weigh it really. Edited March 1, 2012 by craigjames
konstant
Yeah I've always wondered why Echo doesn't build boosters into their frames. Super clean build though... Looks ace.
