pete trials
Right guys i'm trying to decide on which rim and hub to get. I was think of getting the onza pro series rim with trialtech sport hub but i heard that the onza rim is not very strong? So i thought i would get the echo tr rim. I don't know whether i should build a wheel or just buy the echo tr full? can someone give me some advice on buying the right one?
Carlperkins
you might aswell just buy the echo build. its like £100 isnt it? a rim will be £35ish hub - £40 ish spokes are £16 then you will have to build it and true it, if you cant true it you will have to get it done at a bike shop (£10) may as well let tartys build it then you know its gonna be solid. but then again if you wanna build your own rim, i would say echo rim over onza. although i think onzas are pretty strong. staryarm69
I'm a heavy rider and use a echo tr rim front and back with trailtec sport hubs front and back and trailtec spokes all round all built by tarty bikes and they are great the rear wheel is super strong never let me down and holds a grind longer then most rims
