Gaz96
Can get a new set of wheels with these for decent price, need new wheels and was wandering if they've been used for trials? Obviously not as good as Pro 2 Trials but they still decent enough for trials?
AndrewEH1
You could probably use any Hope Hub for the front wheel but if you're after a Hope rear hub definitely go for Pro II or Pro II Evo Trials. Something like the XC will be strong enough but the freehub won't be good enough.

Not necessarily true (Marty/ins ran standard Hope hubs for years) but I do agree that it'd be worth swapping the rear hub out for a Pro2 trials. The Bulb hub should fetch a few quid on ebay which should almost fund a Pro2 if you're lucky.
Robwalker
I started off on a hope bulb, lasted me a good two years, with only one axle replacement. Good hubs if you're not going big - but upgrade when you feel your riding getting better, it will help improve your skills.
Chris Borneo
Used bulb hubs for about 2 years back in the day with no problem at all and I'm now using one again which I've borrowed till I can fund a pro 2. Take up isn't as good as modern trials hubs but it won't break in a hurry.
