CalRobbo341
Grinding my rear rim with the tyre on and im just wondering if any of the shavings will puncture my innertube and or tyre? Can see a couple of shavings on the tyre now but will it affect anything? And has anyone ever ran a light grind with black magura's? Doing it on my front now and it gives quite a bite and really good sound? Thanks Edited February 17, 2012 by Callumm
Laurence--Trials
i'd get the heatsink yellow pads, i had the blues, they started off really good but slowly went down hill.

Jamie_Trials
Don't know mate, I just cba taking my rear wheel/tyre off :/ You can grind it with the tyre on, just let it down first
davidbarr
Just grind your rim with the tyre on. That way you're not going to get any gunk from the tyre on the rim. I usually don't even bother taking my rear wheel off.
CalRobbo341
I know but knowing me..somehow I would mess things up :L EDIT - I also had the angle grinder quite steep and it didnt do that much, just a light -medium grind I think it might be the disc though (quite worn down) Edited February 13, 2012 by Callumm

dann2707
Best to go round the edge of the rim with some sand paper or a file to smooth down rough edges. They kept giving me endless punctures when it was a but rough.
CalRobbo341
Most of the shavings went on the floor, and on my jacket ¬¬ only a couple were on the edge of the tyre, went around with a really light file then brushed around the tyre so I hope all is goooood! N.Wood
Shouldn't be a problem, I've ground my rim with the tyre on for the past 6 years and don't think ive ever had punctures from shards. Wouldn't hurt to blow/brush the edge of the rim to remove them though I guess.
