bike_dummie
Ridest.com has a ratio guide for 20, 24 and 26 (55" bmx standard) , can't link you as I'm on my phone but it used to be at the top of the forum. I put a link in bike chat if you want to look there. Edited February 9, 2012 by bike_dummie

Chris Borneo
Yeah, 36t all the way. I run 24:12 with 26" wheels and it's bang on. Same as running 25:9 with 20"
Alex Dark
Remember the lockring is designed to tighten when its used as a front freewheel ( so on the rear it will tend to loosen and spew its respective pawls and springs all over the floor ). You could either try some heavy threadlock, or weld it which I did for my dirt jumper
Tom Booth
I ran a tensile on the back for years an never had problems with the lockring.

Fail to see how it makes any difference if it's on the front or back.
