Ok so i have a 24 Holy roller on the rear, and it tends to slip off of alot of stuff. I have a kenda blue groove tyre too which is grippy as hell but its heavy (which i dont mind) but its an absolote bitch to get on and off the rim, especially with plastic tyre levers. I was looking at a moto digger as its light and has nobs on so must be grippy-ish right? Anyone use one? Any good?

I know a big better 24" is an alright choice but theyre pricey.

I ran a moto digger on the rear years back and remeber it was alright, I don't think it will be much grippier than a holy roller. The real downside is pinch protection the dmr are pants for pinch flats so if you are going to do it invest in a dh tube aswell but if you go down that route might aswell go with an st high roller or betty.....

I think they're awful even with high PSI's. I flatted my front one all the time and didn't find it grippy in the slightest. I've used Moto RT's which are completely different (they're actually good) and now just run Holy Rollers. If you're riding street then just stick with the Holy Roller, I've not found it to be bad for grip. If it's struggling on edges just jump that bit higher/further forward. I've also used the Blue Groove and it is fantastic if you're doing more traditional trials and will grip like a mother, but if rollings your game then I wouldn't use it, and as you said it sure is heavy as hell.

A Holy Roller to a Moto Digger to me is a bit downgrade in every sense.
