Mark W
why? i have no idea. I heard echos have a less power. Cylinder washers having "less power" is definitely a new one. Anyway - metal cylinder washers tend to 'crimp' less than plastic ones, and make setup a bit easier from my experience. If you've found Magura ones are fine then I guess there's not much point in changing them, but if your current Magura ones are a bit chewed up it might be worth the upgrade. Rowlly21
I find the echo washers to be best as the plastic magura ones seem to mould into a certain shape so when you need to set your pads up again it will just keep pulling it back into the same place.

Same! Had so many problems with plastic washers. I've got some echo alu washers BRAND new - haven't even opened the packaging because I modded mine to not require washers in the end. £5.50 posted. kool kids use washerless clamps anyway
