dannytrialskid
My bashring is set up for a right footer and haven't changed it since I got it. This is why I think that my chain snapped, because I landed on the chain too many times. Do I have to take freewheel off to change it? And, how is set for a left footer? I'm assuming it's a halfring then? Something like the Trialtech halfring? If so, you'll need to loosen off your freewheel and turn the bashring the opposite direction. Hope that helps. AndrewEH1
Twin bash rings, if fitted correctly, are suitable for both left and right footers without the need for adjustment as a 'tab' will always bash before the FFW no matter what foot is forward at the time. Half bash rings do need to be adjusted whether you are left or right footed as there is only one 'tab' to protect the FFW.
