Laurence--Trials
You've got a crack in your rim mate, dont know if you knew or not just thought i'd point it out?
trialskidy
Did not notice that, what would that do to the rim will it just snap in half some time or ... ?
Gandalf the Yellow
might not be cracked, it could well just be the way the wheel was built and the rim wasn't very well pinned together (where it joins up). A lot of pinned rims (most trials rims are) when not built well they tend so show a 'crack' like that. unlike rims where they are pinned and welded at the joint where splits like that are quite unlikely. Steve Thanks for the info Steve if it snaps it snaps i cant feel anything bad happening at the moment while riding .
Muel
It won't "snap". It's badly built though, so I'd expect it to pringle if you bin it. Personally I'd just re-tension and true the wheel rather than waiting for it to go wrong.
Ali C
might not be badly built, trials rims are shocking quality and can be really hard to get some joins to sit level.
