leeW
Hi guys, i'm hoping some of you may be able to help me out. I'm looking at ordering some new pads form tartybikes tonight but unsure what pads to get. I have never used heatsinks in the past and thought it might be time to try them out but cant decide whether to use blues or yellows. Any advice would be greatly welcomed. Thanks. LeeW. Mikee
If you run a grind, try the yellows. If you have a smooth rim and want to keep it that way, use the blues. I have beeen using the yellows on a grind for a couple years now with no issues, so I would reccomend them. Everyone has their own preferences though. Laurence--Trials
My blues were good at first but then went down hill, I'd get the yellows. I'm running smooth rim btw
leeW
Well I'm running a grind (will be a fresh one before I put new pads in) so might go for the yellows. Cheers guys.
forteh
My yellows are perfect (for me and my setup), keep the grind sharp and not too harsh and they should see you well
alistair14
I've used yellows for almost a year now i think! Bets pads i've tried out of a looott of them I've used them on smooth and a grind, grinds behind light, harsh the lot and they work amazing(cnc yellows btw)
TrialZonn
I have used yellows in smooth and light grinded rims and they are superb with a great life. If someone who uses blues say that they are going down quickly get the yellows, you won't be dissapointed.
dann2707
Yellows seem to be working great for me again but as soon as your grind starts to get dull you know about it, the honk goes away and the bite and hold is dramatically reduced. Although i've been running them on the lightest grind ever (which has turned almost smooth) and they are still working in the dry. Soon as it gets wet though it's horrible.
