Mark W
Stan's switched to a new frame recently, namely the Echo Pure SL. Still the nicest riding 26" bike I've ridden! Still using the same Try-All Carbon bars and Trialtech Sport disc forks, as well as a Magura Marta SL front brake. Sweet bashring location The original prototype Trialtech ti top cap, as well as the machined down SL headset that Adam originally made back in 2010. Stan's currently using the Trialtech Sport pads in TNN backings. Best front brake ever. Haggard. Photos were taken by Ads in the new photo setup at the new warehouse, hence them being pretty 'fancy'. Should be a new video of Stan up in about an hour too.

CalopS
Looks nice! What happened to the carbon top tube frame? Prototype conti front tyre? I cant tell if its streety or just a really worn down mountain king.
Mark W
Yeah, it's the same proto Conti one, but it's worn down to pretty much just the carcass now. There's not really anything like it out there, and I gave the one I had to Cap (despite promising I'd keep it for Stan ), so I think Stan's just holding out hope some suitable replacement will come along The carbon top tube frame developed some sort of fault in the carbon tubing itself. I didn't really know too much about it, but it basically worked out that something Adam and Stan had done when they first cut and finished the tube led to a tiny little crack forming. It had still held up fine though, and with what was basically a stress riser being removed from the equation it would work fine for the future too. It involves putting a new tube in though, so I think Stan just wanted to treat himself to a new frame for the new year

CalopS
so I think Stan just wanted to treat himself to a new frame for the new year Fair enough! Carbon would go well with this colour
Mark W
It was originally a Race King with tweaked sidewalls, and the same compound as the Der Kaiser and Rain King tyres. It's massive, but still pretty damn light. The grip was nuts too. It's not ideal any more 'cos it just slides a lot 'cos it's so bald, but it still seems to work for Stan...

wally
15t Thanks, does he run a half link with that ratio? I'm struggling with the tyre hitting the bb with the same ratio.
