Rabbia
I'm looking for areas near st ives cambridge or preferably in st ives to ride i have found the bus station to be ok with some beginner height walls and late evening the car park empties so there is a huge wheelie area but I'm getting fed up with the same wall and wheelies are good just getting fed up with the same place. i have also found the school to be good with stairs walls benches and flat areas but i get kicked off. is there anyone in the area that can suggest spots to ride? would really like to meet up with someone or a group so long as they don't mind having a noob failing everywhere lol so i can hopefully learn by being shown how to do things and corrected if it looks wrong. I've tried the meets area and the cambridge thread seems a bit lifeless at the minute. cheers for any advice. just a thought but would it be a good idea to have a ‘spots‘ area of the forum or is it something people like to keep to themselves? JD™
Dunno whether there's many active people on it for your area, but check out www.ridden.it to see whether anyone's put some spots on there. That'd be a good first step I'd say.

euljeune
Hi, as I said to Rabia, I recently moved to Cambridge where I seem to be the only rider there... I went out riding last week-end and found by myself some spots to ride on but I'm sure there are more hidden somewhere (well, I hope !). It should be good to organise a wee ride with people from the surroundings areas such as Peterborough (David) and others who should have been riding here in the past and know where to go ! Keep in touch.
