bing
so here is a few pics of my new toy, swapped the dj for an ashton gate eight edd tongue sig bike, got onza zoot forks, onza carbon bars, hayes mag front brake, old school hs 33 back with onza limes and a fresh grind, husslefelt cranks, loads of stuff. geo is 1030wb, +35bb, 385cs, is fairly light as well. "update" now got a new(old school azonic copy)stem, and some dmr wingbars which i got donated off a mate, also gone to front hs33 as well with a grind, after major disk brake woes yesterday. rides loads better now, can manual properly now, and bunnyhops are significantly improved. next upgrade is gonna be a new freewheel, heatsink yellows, tensioner, and a new back tyre. eventually, i will get some new lighter bars as well, but i`m not grumbling for free dan Edited January 16, 2012 by danchandler

bing
Looks tidy mate! not sure about those rear clamps though!! yeah it has vee mounts, so had to use an evo2 mount. unless i get a v brake, and some heatsink pads like. it still bite like a mofo and holds real well though
J Trials 31
Yeah, get you some v's for the rear and get that front end up high and it will be ace!
bing
Dunno like, got a water/antifreeze bleed in and the lever feel is well solid and the frame is reasonably stiff ie not much flexing so am gonna see how she rides
Ross McArthur
You'll need a higher fornt end man!

Ali C
haha, different! I think if you tilted the bars back so they were in line with the headtube it would look nicer and ride even better.

murph82
cut the seat tube down or stick a pivotal type seat on there. However, the mini seat does add some back in the day ed tongue retroness!
bing
cut the seat tube down or stick a pivotal type seat on there. However, the mini seat does add some back in the day ed tongue retroness! yeah, am undecided wether to leave it old school, or update it with some modern parts. am deffo going down the pivotal seat route, not attacking it with a saw as its a limited edition frame. gonna throw some moto diggers on, and some different bars. think an inspired seat might have to be ordered. Ross McArthur
Lol I dont think he meant the frame! Although the headtube could be doing with being shortened! Upgrade! Bars without a crossbrace would be a shout. I'd advise against digger tires. Try the RT instead.
bing
yeah good shout, might try them, although they are heavy. one of the lads is gonna order me some schwalbe table tops, they are well light.

Scott Gibbs
The Diggers are ok tyres. Just need to run high pressures and a DH tube in the rear at least. Or slit an old tube down the inside and take the valve off and put your tube inside it. The Ashton looks nice, keep rockin the mini seat though old skool kool!!
