henrus
I absolutely love this bike, try find someone that has one to try out are they just as good for trials as they have taken away the seat, or are they still aimed mostly at street ? I am yet to hear a single bad word about the Echo 24"! Do it. do you know someone who owns one or is this just from what you've heard ? many thanks. Scott Gibbs
They are aimed purely at trials now as apposed to the older Echo 24 "urban". I belive they have a 35mm ish longer wheelbase and the BB rise is double that of the 1st frame.
Azarathal
These are pure trials bikes, they're not designed for street at all and I can barely 360 pivot the thing, imagine riding a 26" that felt like riding a 20"
the mysterious leemur
In my opinion as your first bike I'd get a cheaper one as in a month or two you may decide you don't want to do trials , I have seen it many times with people buying £600+ bikes then quitting after a few weeks and wasting quite a lot of money. If he decides he doesn't want to ride trials, he can sell his bike for close to the price he got it for (if second hand). Having a nice bike like that to start out on will probably encourage you, so personally, I think it's a good choice!
