p_ruskin
A few months ago, my trialtech cranks threaded slowly and as the threads stripped the cranks slowly move round the freewheel, Less than two months ago i got new freewheel and cranks and the same happened again today, but after two full rotations of the crank loose round the freewheel it tightened up again, and became ridable But im very concious of riding now in case the threads rip out suddenly, Has anyone else had the same problem? I will take the freewheel off and see if any of the threads are damaged, its just a bit annoying seeing as the cranks are pretty much new

N.Wood
Is it an ENO? They have slightly different to 'normal' threads and thats been blamed for when this has happened to me before. Its also happened with an Echo SL though, so who knows.
p_ruskin
Yeah normal trialtech halfring, and the new TR freewheel, but it seems to have tightened it self up again, rode a full day afterwards and it hasn't budged, really strange

isitafox
My trialtechs did the same with a TT Ti halfring and SL freewheel though I'd had them for over a year before it happened. koxxboy14
Sorry for the bump. But, Paul has yours been fine ever since? or have you had to replace the freewheel and cranks? My echo freewheel has done it today and tightened up again, but i'm not sure if its safe

My echo freewheel has done it today and tightened up again, but i'm not sure if its safe Id be weary of it nick, my cranks snapped off at the threads and had to get it replaced, i know it may put you off but i would give it a while and see if it does as it might be okay
