RickyBrown
-unwind the tpa to make the brake pull in furthest-un-thread the main lever pin 5mm bolt (this is situated on the top of the lever body I'm assuming this is on a back brake so it would be to the right of the tpa itself) (left if front) -pull this out -pull the lever out it will just slide out of the main body (at this stage you might need somebody to apply pressure to the piston inside the lever to stop it falling out -wind the tpa fully out as if you wanted to adjust your pads inwards -the pin of the tpa will thread out completely -the round part of the tpa will be in three parts 2x plastic semi circular shapes and the red circular tpa with the hole in it. -assuming that you are just changing the red part. insert the new tpa between the two semicircular plastic parts you removed from the old tpa -and push back into drilled hole in lever blade -now thread the old pin fully back in same way you took it out (be sure not to cross thread) -insert lever blade into main body -thread the pin in and tighten (5nm (I think) more than this will risk putting too much pressure on the fragile lever body and it will crack) (most of them did it didn't render the brake useless) -wind the tpa to your desired setting. -done
