zonazip Jake
Hi there im debating to run rear profile rather than front freewheel, i was woundering with rim is the best suited for the profile cause i limited cause they only come 36 hole . If any could give me soume guidence that would be appreated.
ogre
any rim you like, just ignore holes in the hub... to be honest why you'd choose a profile nowadays with the sweet range of freewheels is beyond me, they were never meant for trials, and when there was only the eno freewheel available they made an interesting alternative, but ffw is prety much the norm for a reason... buy an sl... Revolver
Another vote for sticking to ffw. Profiles can fail in pretty interesting ways, and you've already hit a snag before even buying one.

SamKidney
SL freewheels are brilliant. Ive already ruined one, and I bought another without hesitation. More than enough engagements, and super reliable.
Aidan97
im guessing I just got a dodgy SL. Mine shit itself within a couple of months of buying.
bike_dummie
Don't mean to hi-jack this thread but are there any more bmx hubs (14mm male axle) capable of trials other than a profile?

konstant
My first SL died pretty spectacularly. 3 months old, skipped a few times, then totally locked up one day by blowing a pawl. My second hasn't skipped yet. They're not perfect, but they're probably better than the alternatives. It seems like there's a bit of luck involved. I'd still buy another.
