planet x alan
After hunting about all over the closest place I can find one is in Australia. I remember back in the day everyone used to love them and would like one on my new stock build What about an alternative? I use Kool chains but I don't really trust them when going big. Seen the gusset chain on tarty but I'm pretty sure a few people slated them back in the day? May be wrong. Thaaaanks!
Kenny--Trials
They were discontinued
SamKidney
Theres a company that sells copies/ rebranded KHE Collapse chains on Ebay, but I cant remember for the life of me what they're called. Have a browse. And as for the Gusset chain, they are PROPERLY strong, but prone to stiff links and they weigh loads, and I found mine hard to shorten/ reattach without going out and buying a mammoth sized chain tool. planet x alan
They were discontinued I know, such a let down. Was thinking it might be a long shot like but would love it if anyone knows of anywhere still carrying old stock.

Jamie_Trials
Wasn't this one was it? Hmm yeah, I was gonna get one of them, but you can't be sure it's been properly manufactured, for such a price maybe it's too good to be true. Real shame they don't do KHE collapse chains anymore. planet x alan
Probably gonna buy one, if it's poor quality I'll just stick it on the bmx when it needs a newun.
Kenny--Trials
To be honest I think it's best just to get anyone off tarty. They know what chains (come to think of it any trials part,) are good for trials and if this chain was good enough, they would stock them. Also it says strong but it doesn't say the weight load so it can't really be justified that it is strong other than it looks like it is. dann2707
Oooh that eBay one looks dodgy. Out of all the things to save money on, on a trials bike, I'd say a chain would be at the bottom of my list.

Greetings
What about the KMC K910? That's a 1/8" chain too.
planet x alan
It is, but would be a last resort as they weigh a tonne and I'd have to buy another motorbike chain tool.

planet x alan
Any need in posting a reply that contributes nothing to the topic? As for saving money on parts that is not my intention. I am looking for a specific chain which I have used in the past and has been top quality. JD™
not only heavy, also expensive. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=46499 might be good enough. Are you suggesting a non trials specific part on a trials bike? Surely not, puretrialsrider88?
AndrewEH1
I think that fact that you could use it on a 'pure' trials frame means that it is okay... Edited January 3, 2012 by AndrewEH1
