dann2707
Snake venom cream or don't ride in places with snakes? ULTIMATE LOLS aside, I find having a nice smooth rim on the edges has helped me alot. Also running higher pressure, and generally trying to ride smoother helps.
AndrewEH1
If you are just starting out you will get a fair few snakebites. As you progress you will become skilled/smooth enough to stop making the mistakes that lead up to getting a puncture. You could also run downhill inner tubes as these are a lot thicker and will be able to take loads of abuse compared to the lightweight tubes some people use. Ryanonza
What's the best way to deal with it? Can either down it all in one or take sips of it
Alex Dark
What rim/tyre/tube combo? Wider rear rim, dual ply tyre, downhill innertube... all should reduce the amount of punctures If you still get flats, you need to get smoother. bike_dummie
Wrap your current tube up in another tube , heavy but when I did it I never got another puncture
Jamie_Trials
If its not venomous then don't worry really, I'd only worry if it was by a venomous snake. Easy way to avoid them is to put talcum powder in, helps a lot. I haven't burst my rear tube in over a year i bet
Andeee
Cut an old inner tube up (inc valve) and wrap it around your current tube. This basically offers a extra ply i found that helped me a lot. As for tyre pressures it varied and i still did not get one.
