Laurence--Trials
I'm considering swapping my avid bb7 for a magura louise disc, i have searched but cant find any info on them, how much power do they have? Much hold? Very strong? etc etc It'll be used with 180mm disc up front on a 24" bike.
J Trials 31
Louise are great brakes, but why the change, what's wrong with your BB7?

Laurence--Trials
Right got another problem now, on my trial tech fork i have a plus 20+ mount On his echo urban fork he has a normal mount We're both running 180mm disc rotors so if we swap i'll have to run an 200mm disc he'll have to run a 160mm disc is there an adapter to make the disc smaller so that i can run the magura louise 20+ calliper (?) on a 180mm rotor and could i have a link? How would it work? Would this work? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=64471
Azarathal
Stop pissing about with your brakes and leave them alone for once.

Scott Gibbs
Magura louise disc brakes are pretty darn good. They have good power and hold and have very good modulation. But they dont have the light, glass like feel at the lever like a hope. I'd say they're 80% as good as a mono trials.
Laurence--Trials
Ahh i see, thanks. What do you mean "glass like feel"?
Scott Gibbs
Ahh i see, thanks. What do you mean "glass like feel"? When you pull a hope it feels light like there is no resistance and effort required to pull. Probably thinking too much on how to describe it really! Hopefully i cleared up what i ment now!!
