trialsbeginner
Does anyone know how to get pallets because i am a beginner and need to find some for my biking because everything else where i live is tough to ride for a beginner like me and i think pallets would just boost me up a little bit cheers
kaybs41282
Dress up like a ninja in the dead of night and steal them ...or just ask local businesses if you can nab a few. I think the blue ones tend to be rented but you may be able to find someone with a stack of standard pallets that they don't want. I asked a printing firm who couldn't give me enough as they were in their way!
Chris Borneo
Yeah, the blue Chep ones are usually the best to ride as they're good to stack and interlock with each other and pretty tough too. Back when i was younger, the security guards at our local industrial estate used to let us ride there, out of business hours, as much as we liked as long as we didn't break too many pallets and put everything away when we were done. Guess it was in there interest to have people about on the estate. Always worth an ask first though. If you've got somewhere to put em a lot of places will just give you em but they might not always be the strongest. hazza2805
I found that small independent supermarkets tend to have a few that they don't want.
monty-james
My Dad is a courier, he used to just ask places at work that had them outside if he could take a few, they were fine with it. We had quite a few pallets, along with cable reels of all different sizes. Its worth a try just asking, providing you have transport, otherwise you'll look a bit silly halfway down the street on top of your bike, underneath 3 pallets.
