onza pro series guy
I recently picked up a set of White 07 Hs33s, they are evo2 kits and I run normal 4bolt mounts on the rear, I have started modifying the actual clamps and they seem to fit the frame. Is there anything I should watch for which might lead to damage once they are in use though stress? Im sire this must have been done before so has anyone got any tips or pointers really? TO CLEAR THINGS UP I'M ASKING ABOUT TURNING EVO 2 CLAMPS INTO 4 BOLTS Thanks Dave Edited December 14, 2011 by onza pro series guy
Azarathal
Remove the evo2 mounts and use 4bolt as usual?

JD™
Everyone in 'missing the point of the question' shocker. You mean running 4 bolts through an Evo 2 clamp right? As in not running the shoulders on the top, just running a bolt into the top hole of the mount? I'm sure I've seen it done before too, but for the sake of a few quid for clamps it seems a worthless potential risk (though I'm not sure that we should be waving goodbye to your frame instantly )

I'm sorry if the question made me sound like some sort of special but it was rushed. Its obviously not perminant but my bank balence reads £1.29 at the mo I wouldn't have thought my frame would snap straight away as I am using Magura clamps as, well Magura clamps, just modifying the attachment method to what the frame requires? Mark W
I used them bolted up onto 4-bolt mounts before (using a long bolt to go straight through the top of the Evo 2 kit into the actual mount on the frame) and it was fine, although I didn't have any adjustment which wasn't that convenient

Please excuse my rushed, confusing and grammatically incorrect question everyone!!
