gu trials
so was just wondering which are the best UK skate parks, the ones around me are fairly rubbish, basically a box, a bowl a rail and 2-3 quarter pipes, that is it in 4 skate parks. apparently halton is meant to be good though on the outside of lancaster
Sprog!
Miles away, but there is an indoor one nearish Newquay, Mounthawke which is pretty good, designed by Tony Hawke. Also in Truro there is a pretty decent one too
winchman
Rampworx, Liverpool, Whos coming second? http://rampworx.com/ Not just the ramp design, but the helpfull attitude of the staff and visitors. Lots of good events organised too, and dont forget its not some money spinner, its ran by a charity so any monies made are spent on the place. They want to open more in the uk but cant get the money. trials26
Hey, as mentioned: - Stoke Plaza - real good fun, reccomend a visit / worth the journey! the coping is aluminium though so doesn't slide that great (if you like grinds) - Theres apparently another plaza type place in Middlesborough (or that way on) - not been myself. - Micklefield (near leeds) pretty cool, nice little street bit, with ramps too - bit of a rough area regards damage to cars so park well on the street if you go here > http://media.photobucket.com/image/micklefield%20skatepark%20leeds/bamboosam81/pan1crop.jpg - I hear Nottingham skatepark has had a refresh too! Sorry they are quite a drive for you, hope I've added more than what was already mentioned! Enjoy! Barry

bing
i used to go to bones in stockport, think its now called uk skatepark or summat, they have got rid of the big wall ride that went to the ceiling before the jumpbox. that was back in the day when i used to be young and fearless, and could crash without banging my head
N.Wood
Miles away, but there is an indoor one nearish Newquay, Mounthawke which is pretty good, designed by Tony Hawke. Miles Mallinson
Only indoor I have ever been to is Unit 23 so I can't really compare but I spent about 14hours in there over 2 days you just can't get bored. Also if you are there pretty late all the pro's come out like Kriss Kyle and such.
Captain Scarlet
Depends what riding your after really? I really like Borehamwood and Potters Bar/Furzefield leisure skatepark, both concrete, relatively well spaced and plenty of lines for all kinds of action sports. Simpson
Southbank in London, going over Christmas, it should be pretty dope Not a skate park, a concrete slope, some stairs and 2 concrete blocks....
Matthew62
Not a skate park, a concrete slope, some stairs and 2 concrete blocks.... There's a rail (i.e. barrier) and a painted line that says 'skatepark' now........
