1a2bcio8
I'm just wondering if one of these exists? I know Mark W has a non-disc (ns bikes I think) hub but I couldn't find an equivalent with a disc mount. Anyone have any recommendations or know anything? My rims are reaching the end of their lives and I want to start sorting something new out but with a more burly front hub if possible. It's a shame you can't get the skye forks separately
Ali C
I have a Hope Pro 2 front hub, I got the 15mm axle option, bought some alloy bar off ebay, turned it down to 15mm and tapped it to take M10 bolts (same as hope hubs) so now I have a hope front disk hub that takes 8mm bolts
1a2bcio8
That sounds cool. Unfortunately I'm not competent enough to achieve something like that myself It needs to be off the shelf. Maybe I could pay Tarty to do what you've said though; might be an idea... krazykid009
I'm pretty sure if you spoke to Rob he could do that for you Ben.... The axle in the rear of my Hope XC is actually compoletely turned by hand on a lathe, and it fits perfectly! James
Sponge
http://profileracing.com/products_mtb.php I did a little research for you, haha, maybe this'll work? I know Profile hubs can take a 3/8" female axle which functions the same as a 10mm on a trials bike, and it seems they make disc mounted shells too so you could give Profile Europe a shout to see if they can either get one in for you or construct one together from individual pieces (which is how Profile operates in Florida at least) Might be a tad heavier than usual trials disc hubs but this might be what you're after? I think it may be worth checking with Ali/Adam to see if you can get it done - it's a sweet setup
Filo
I did the same as Ali. I used a 20mm hub for mine. Mines been holding up fantastic, it's been installed since early may this year.
