tomo88
Hi i'm looking to get into trials and have been offered this bike for £50 it does have brakes (think v brakes) but there not fitted. I'm not gonna be doing fantastic things on it like you guys just the basic stuff. What do you think is it worth it? http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/9717/99831996.jpg
isitafox
Can't complain at £50 for learning the basics! Just make sure you get the brakes setup well with some decent pads and it should be a great 1st bike.
Luke Dunstan
As a first bike, you can't go wrong with that for £50.

Jake.
You get what you pay for, so this will probably break easily once you get into the bigger moves. But is great for learning the basics, so if you want something to muck around on while learning the basics and not worry too much about breaking anything then this is a good deal for you. Mark W
For £50 use it then uparde if you like it Because of the spec on that particular bike, upgrading might prove tricky without spending a lot of money on it.

Good point what I should have said is upgrade to another bike and sell this on for what you paid.
old'scoolfool
theres one on ebay starting at £100 i personally think he's insane but any bike you buy for £50 even if you only get half the money back it's not a huge loss, i dont know anything about the bike but it looks a bit like an old t-pro and they were great starter bikes
ogre
worth it at £50, some mid range vee pads like heatsink pads, and fresh brake cables will make the brakes massively better if you can pick up a trials freewheel second hand, not a shity acs claw or whatever is cheap on ebay, and the bike will be plenty reliable, brakes and freewheels are the driving force behind most trials, you can't really notive anything else being better when you learn, only a weight difference, even the nicest most expensive bike will feel odd and difficult when your learning at first, so go for it and have fun. studi
I rode a similar bike(tank) for a year or so, which I payed 250 USD = 175 euro?? It WILL help you learn the basics of throwing your weight around the bike, its still great fun and gets you past the most difficult part of the learning curve...
