old'scoolfool
i notice it seems to be all people use these days are they stronger or just lighter?
ZeroMatt
I'd imagine it's largely down to the fact that Tarty don't sell DT stuff.
AdamR28
In my experience... stronger, lighter, cheaper. Win.
J.KYDD
I'm a Sapim spokes die hard. The butting on them is closer to the ends, making for a slightly lighter and more durable spoke

dave33
Dt are much better IMO i have snapped loads of sapim spokes on the rear just from run ups, never snapped any DT like that and iv had alot more wheels with DT
Ali C
I've yet to snap a Sapin spoke, snapped a couple of DT in the past from hitting them on rocks, Sapin seem to put up with abuse a little better from my experience. Also as said, cheaper, lighter and in my eyes, stronger...bit of a no brainer really.
aener
I've never noticed any difference in spokes, to be honest. I've had a set of each, and a few sets of cheapo ones - one of which was £5 a set from an LBS. The cheap ones seem just as durable as the expensive ones. Very rarely snap any, but expensive ones just as often as the cheap. Maybe it's a mod thing... less leverage etc. - though I had the same thing on my 24, but I never got much good on it so that might be why.
