SAB
Help required Im building a onza blade and all the other bits I understand but im looking to buy some second hand wheels but im confused by the 19" 20" wheel sizes. I am using Maguras front and rear and I will be griding the rims. So some clarification on what I should be looking for would be great. Thanks
TrialsIsHard
20" front wheel and a 19" rear wheel is what you're looking for. The rear wheel is an inch smaller to compensate for the inch thick tyre you would run on the rear.
thinkdougie
20" front wheel and a 19" rear wheel is what you're looking for. aener
Also easier too get the bike on the back wheel iirc? No. No difference whatsoever, largely due to the fact that the wheel still has a 20" outside diameter.
SAB
Thanks Guys so if I was putting up a wanted add what should I ask for a 20" bike wheel set? or a 19" wheel set?
TrialsIsHard
A mod wheelset would be fine, very very few people run a 20" rear wheel. If anyone offers you something you can always check it's 19" with a quick google search anyways.
