JD™
Yea it's been tried, it works but there isn't really any benefit over a water/antifreeze bleed...
Muel
Doesn't work, it's thin enough to leak past the seals. I used to use Procool in mine. It's some special fluid for water-cooled motorbikes. Nice and free flowing, slightly lubricating, and doesn't corrode or damage anything. pengsmelly
I have never tried it, but it's quite a thin fluid, so I can imagine you would probably loose fluid with it slowly coming through the seals. Try it if you want to but I dont think it will actually work, however i may be wrong.
AdamR28
Done it, works fine, nothing wrong with anti-freeze/water though and it's a lot less effort.

Revolver
I reckon it's more that water bleeds voids your warranty.
AdamR28
Personally would always use a water bleed (with anti freeze) in a hydro rim brake, but can't be seen to recommend it 'professionally'.
