dann2707
So after running rear BB7 since the day before Tarty Days (late May), I didn't really get along with it. Bit too spongy for me and I really missed the confidence bite from maguras. Didn't really push myself all Summer . So I went on a bit of a buying spree to sort it all out, not much use in the shed collecting dust. New items are... • Rear Echo TR rim (built by Aener so it should last me ! ) • HS33 Maggy 4 finger lever • Trial tech thin foam grips • Echo SL booster • Echo not TR clamps that i've made into washerless clamps. • Heatsink yellows in CNC backings • Pretty much all new bolts in black as mine were rusty. Just need a few more. Also new Try-all hub washers. • Echo half ring instead of my horrible bashplate that was ridonkulously deformed! • Sanded down my crank arms and sprayed again • New grub screws in pedals, 2mm longer - shin killers. Also sprayed pedals black again as they were battered. I think that's about it. I'm just waiting for my bleed kit from Heatsink Bikes then I'm away. Sorry for the SHOCKING photos, will get some sexy 'ns at a later date. Weighing in at just under 9kg on my SUPER highly accurate bathroom scales lol. It's just a bit too heavy on the rear but i'm not that arsed. Going to be getting a grind on the rear too when my bleed kit comes. Any comments would be good. weirdoku
• Echo TR clamps that i've made into washerless clamps. I'm sure TR clamps are washerless in the first place? And I do like the look these onzas, shame I don't ride anymore otherwise the next frame would be one of these.

dann2707
Received my new stem from tarty (fab service as always, cheers) Gone from a 150x35 to 170x35. My bleed kit should be here tomorrow after Steve emailed me tuesday saying hes dispatched it so will FINALLY get round to riding it. Might stick that spacer under the stem eventually but want to see how it rides now.
SamKidney
It will ride perfectly Any plans on replacing said Tensile Bars?
dann2707
Maybe when/if they snap. At this moment in time they are only going to corrode away rather than snap as i haven't been out in fecking ages. Looking forward to Leeds ride mate, gonna be good to see you (no homo)
SamKidney
I'd say better to replace em before while you can before you do yourself some harm. Only my opinion Looking forward to it hombre!
dann2707
Well I've managed to see how it rides in my back garden for a little bit. Ended up sticking that other spacer under the stem and it feels so much nicer compared to what it was like, I feel less cramped. Can't wait to *properly* ride it on Sunday. I've got a set I'm threatening to use I've put on a super light grind, still left half of the black paint on its so light and they are really honky! Also im loving this new stem i've put on, I feel so much less cramped in comparison. Edited November 26, 2011 by dann2707
