TRA
no new material I added 25% twixtor ontop of the 240 fps material that i had, resulting in superduper slowmotion, close to 1000 fps. There are some warping, but because there were so many frames for twixtor to work with, its quite minimal. I made this solely because people seemed to really enjoy slowmotion for instructional purposes, and because its nice to watch, altho boring after a while. Hopefully im able to make some other videos where i can illustrate more clearly some techniques in the future. sponsors: Trialtech Allsport Dynamics TNN Engineering
JD™
That's cool. Over the top, obviously, but it was just a tester so enjoyable. What camera are you using?

TRA
Its not over the top at all, for instructionals purposes i think i hit a good speed. The camera is sony hdr cx360 , records 240 fps for 3 seconds, so yea, i have to shout "yes" when i want the helper to push the rec button , haha. That's cool. Over the top, obviously, but it was just a tester so enjoyable. What camera are you using? Sure, no problem ! i can do that ! just give me 10-20 cameras in i`ll do it, im waiting. NEXT STEP: effect! I didn't mean over the top in a massively negative way - I just meant that a whole video of it was over the top. For instructional stuff it would be awesome! Chaotic3vil
Nice video video btw.. Never considered the casio exilim for super slomos? It goes up to 1200 fps, but drops on image size quite a bit. Still, Its a good slomo machine for the price. TRA
lol @rage. casio does not hold any quality advantages compared to my camera . If anyone knows of a camera that does 200+ fps at 720p please do let me know , and with that i do mean cameras that are under 5000 USD Nice video video btw.. Chaotic3vil
Get a RED, it's just 5000 with one more 0. Technology is moving quite fast, good cameras are getting cheaper. Last year you had the 5D for full frame video and now you got the Sony NEXfs100, Canon C300, RED scarlet etc. It's just a matter of time till cinema quality cameras be in the hands of us, simple mortals! TRA
Yeah , next step of cameras for mere mortals are the proto canon which shoots at 4K res , i doubt it will cost more then .... 6000 usd . =P And then all we need is 720p @ 200+fps for a "nice price" . I have now been searching around there just isnt any higher res then DV quality that goes up to 200+fps price going from 480p to 720p is like 500USD vs 15 000USD or close there . That was their sales pitch. Now what do you get? A 4k res for 10.000$ camera. f**kers!
