dann2707
Hey. Dad's just rang me asking me to find him a laptop for my Mum for xmas. I've told him not to get suckered into PC world as they are a bunch of faggots. Muel recommended me my desktop and it's still going strong as ever so if anyone knows of any laptops for £250 that will last a while, that'd be great. She's only going to be using it for browsing the web, I don't think she's a die hard gamer as of yet. Must have windows 7 already on it, built in wifi etc. Cheers. Matthew62
JD's MacBook. Leave Gates out of this one!
dann2707
She'd be looking for something new, so she has the peace of mind of having warranty incase anything gets fubar'd. And I think her head would explode using a Mac after using windows, she's a bit of a simpleton.
JD™
Yea wouldn't wanna be giving something used for a present anyway... Plus I can't see it going for less than £
Danny
You really won't get much/anything for that money. £350 is about minimum for a semi decent laptop.
Muel
if anyone knows of any laptops for £250 that will last a while, that'd be great. Noe. Stretch to £325-350, and yes.

Simpson
I'm using my Dell D340 latitude, nice compromise between a netbook and a laptop, great to use, comes with docking station pretty small, 3 or 6 month warantee from E-Bay seller, windows XP loaded, got it for like 120 posted. f**king bargin runs great over 3 hour battery life.... what more could you want as a simple mother.
