Azarathal
I would personally get new brakes, probably something like the Shimano SLX's as they're quite cheap atm although if nothings broken save your money until something goes wrong. Jamie_Trials
I'd defiantly get some new forks, them steel ones aren't the best in the world. Standard onza forks = 1268g Most forks today = 800g And from my experiance the forks just feel weird because of the geometry.
ogre
maybe loose the rear disc and stick a magura on instead, as for grips, pedals and bb, look at superstar components for some bargains...

Azarathal
Why not stick with a rear disc? Just get a better one.
Skoze
Agreed, switch the forks for something lighter and maybe think about a new bar and stem. It's the things like that which will make the most noticeable difference to how it rides.

Jamie_Trials
I dont want to smash the disc when i miss jump on to something I haven't heard of any that have snapped. I had an aztec rotor before and landed on it so many times. The worst that ever happened was that it bent. But yeah, if you're wanting something that will bite on the rim rather than modulation the get rid of the disc.
williams
sorry for answering a bit late. but i would recommend magura hs33 for the rear. and a new echo fork which saves pretty much weight, and also change the handlebars to something lighter which also decrease weight. these mods would approximately save at least 1kg. which definitely would be noticeable. cheers. PS i have the same bike.sorry for answering a bit late. but i would recommend magura hs33 for the rear. and a new echo fork which saves pretty much weight, and also change the handlebars to something lighter which also decrease weight. these mods would approximately save at least 1kg. which definitely would be noticeable. cheers. Aidan97
I got some wider bars for mine and it helped alot with controlling the bike, also an echo sl makes gaps, sidehops etc, alot easier
