trialsnoobie
hey ive got a 118mm bb and wondered if i could get any modern cranks with a freewheel and any bashring at all to fit?
Mark W
That sort of depends on which frame, bashring, cranks and freewheel you're using. I think I got a BB under 118mm (think it was a 113?) to work on my Lynx using a pair of Try-All cranks, Trialtech ti halfring and an SL freewheel, but that was fairly setup specific. Matt Vandart
I had a 118mm bb on my hydrox with echo SL freewheel and tryall cranks, it worked.
beedlo
I had a 118mm bb on my hydrox with echo SL freewheel and tryall cranks, it worked. I also had a Hydroxx mod but with a 118mm bb with Try-All cranks/bash ring/Tensile FW, it cleared fine. One other thing I would also consider would be crank to frame clearance. My Rockman would definitely not work with a 118mm bb for that reason - it almost doesn't with a 123mm.
